When recruiting personnel for you, CDR Contracts will take the following steps as a minimum standard:

  • Pre-employment Screening of Identification, Licenses, qualifications, ITC check and store in electronic file. Other Pre-employment screening services are available and can be viewed under our Pre-employment services summary

  • Two background reference checks

  • Competency based interviews for Senior Staff

  • Candidates are shortlisted based on their availability, geographical location, ability and ranking according to referee reports

  • Explanation of assignment conditions in accordance with CDR Contracts “Casual Employees – Terms and Conditions of Employment” & Notification of Offer of Casual Employment”, with any specific clauses relevant to the role

  • You will be supplied with a quotation covering hourly Bill Rates covering minimum statutory requirements and service fee markup for contract staff, our company credit application and terms and conditions of credit for contract staff

  • Terms of service for permanent placements need to be signed and returned before our recruitment staff action any work on vacancies forwarded to us

Permanent Placements
Fee Structure

CDR Contracts believes in thorough recruitment and selection of candidates on behalf of our clients. Senior Candidates undergo Competency Based Interviews. Candidates perform assessments to measure their general level of communication and skills. Background checks are performed to validate the candidate’s qualifications and a minimum of two most recent, in depth references are taken verbatim, which are included on the candidates’ curriculum vitae, along with copies of all their assessments and background checks. ITC Checks, Criminal Checks and Personality Profile Analysis are only performed at the client’s request.

When an applicant is appointed as a permanent employee, a placement fee is applicable which is based on the applicant’s annual remuneration, with a three-month guarantee. Should the applicant terminate his/her employment within the three month guarantee period, you will be entitled to a replacement, or alternatively, to a rebate of 80% for month one, 50% for month two and 25% for month three. This guarantee does not apply if the employee leaves due to redundancy or retrenchment, or to conduct of the client amounting to a breach of the employment agreement with the applicant.
